We grew up thinking we’d be flying around in spaceships by now, not driving our grandmother’s Toyota Corolla to work. By now, we thought we’d be able to push a button and have a roast turkey pop out of the office kitchen counter. And of course, by now, we thought we’d be working in paperless offices. But office professionals know that even with email, iPads and BlackBerries, paper is still everywhere. The office of the future may appear far off, but it isn’t: You just can’t see it because it doesn’t have walls, or people.
