Featured Job Opportunity: Administrative Secretary at Arizona State

Located in Washington, D.C., this position is with the ASU McCain Institute for International Leadership.
This person will provide administrative support for multiple directors and answer phones, take messages and follow up as needed. The job also involves managing busy calendars, scheduling appointments for two directors, booking travel arrangements, processing travel documents from authorization through reimbursements and reconciling travel reimbursements for two directors. General office tasks such as filing and handling correspondence is also involved.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and one year of administrative secretarial experience or an associate's degree and three years of administrative secretarial experience. Requires experience with Apple Mac OSX systems as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Must be comfortable working in an environment requiring attention to detail and organization. Demonstrated knowledge of Politics and/or International Affairs is helpful. Must have excellent phone etiquette.

Applicants should be able to work independently and prioritize their workload in relation to the priorities of two busy directors. This position will be part of a team that includes a program coordinator and additional Institute staff.
