Featured Job Opportunity: Executive Assistant for Hawaii Community Foundation

Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, this position involves providing professional and confidential administrative support to the VP & Chief Operating Officer. Will assist in planning, coordinating and managing administrative, logistical and communication needs for the COO. Oversees the COO’s travel arrangements, logistics, appointments, and meeting schedules. Works with other staff to ensure that briefing and materials are prepared and ready in a timely manner. Also schedules and prepares internal and external meetings (via phone, email, regular mail). Includes screening and responding to phone and email, and managing the in/out box.
They are looking for someone who has excellent organizational skills: attention to detail, capacity to work under deadline pressures and handle a variety and multiple assignments efficiently with accuracy and timeliness. Applicants must have professional presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills including writing, editing and proofing skills.
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience. Minimum of two years office experience supporting at an executive or managerial level required, along with at least one year experience with service oriented responsibilities (employment, volunteering, etc.)
Position involves travel as needed, and candidate must be able to work extended hours occasionally to meet deadlines or handle heavy workload.
