Featured Job Opportunity: Special Services Coordinator

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, this position involves providing administrative support including member database management, financial management, political/legislative activity assistance, coordination of communications, and planning for board of directors meetings, conferences and events. Responds to inquiries from specialty society members and prospective members. Includes regular communications about membership status, conference registrations, and database information. Provides first-rate customer service.
Will maintain Political Action Committee records and file PAC reports as required by the NC State Board of Elections. Maintain lobbying records and file reports as required by the NC Secretary of State. Also provides back-up support for answering and directing telephone calls.
Ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus at least two years of experience as an executive/administrative assistant. Background should include experience with Microsoft computer programs and databases, including Raiser’s Edge (preferable) and QuickBooks, website administration, database administration and political/legislative activities.
The salary for this position is $32,000.
